CONSERVATOR'S NOTE (Reopening survey): The right margin, which carried the overruling authority's full signature, does not survive; the leaf was received already cut, cleanly, along the signature's first letter. The assigned accession number has been lost separately — where it should appear in the sequence, the catalogue passes from its neighbour to its neighbour's neighbour without remark. Mrs. Vasse's hand is attested in this catalogue for approximately thirty years after her disappearance in November of this same year. The entries are correct and useful. No successor admitted to writing them.
